Multiple Courts, Multiple Procedures

This week will work in Federal Court in Burlington, Family Court in Barre, and Criminal Court in White River Junction, and preparing additional work in Addison County as a victim’s rights attorney, and more criminal work in Barre. It is notable that in each Court, the judge, the court staff and , in the criminal cases, the prosecutors, all have different procedures and processes to follow for things like scheduling hearings, issuing transport orders and resolving scheduling conflicts. My suggestion to readers is that they talk to attorneys and court staff familiar with the specific court you may have a case within, so as to learn the unique details to move your case most effectively forward. Thanks for reading. A.J.
